Se rumorea que Wade Barrett podría recibir un gran push durante los próximos meses. WWE.com ha publicado los resultados del último show de Smackdown! destacando la victoria limpia de Barrett sobre Randy Orton, catalogando el resultado como una «Gran Victoria».

Cabe recordar que Wade Barrett dejó de ser un main event desde la separación del grupo Nexus, capitaneado por él. Además, en los últimos meses le hemos visto pelear en varios show de WWE Superstars. Parece ser que WWE quiere volver a contar con él en los grandes acontecimientos, empezando por Smackdown! y continuando en WWE Survivor Series.
